My work as an artist is drawn from my neurodivergence and how that influences my life. I have done a whole costume and painting series on clowns spanning many years, as I connected to them in a way that expressed my gender and neurodivergence and the intersectionality between those identities. At this point in my artistic journey, I am further exploring my identity as a genderfluid lesbian, and how I connect with other people in my queer community as an autistic person. I use bright colors, primarily pink, and soft textures to explore these themes through fibrous sculpture and painting, as well as costume and fashion design.
